The other two finalist were Jim Van Waltsleben, 17, lyricist and rapper, and the young Ella Brookes, 10, who sang and danced as a professional artist on the stage.

“I write my own music and I want to make it in music industry” said Jim “I think this talent is good, it gives people the chance to show what they can do. I really enjoyed being here.”

The event, which was funded by the Coastal BID, got a good response as it attracted a large audience. Clare Belmont Manager of the Community Youth Project Shop and organiser of the talent, said: “This is our first year and it was wonderful to see people come to Boscombe and enjoy what we have to offer. We really hope to be able to do it again next year “.
