Flood warning issued for Swanage Harbour

Immediate action has been called as high tides and strong eastern winds of up to force 8 are predicted to hit Swanage Bay today until the Saturday.
A precautionary measure will be deployed at the Square and by the stone pier at Swanage. Travellers shall avoid the site at the moment.

Photographer Andy Lyons, who is travelling around the bay, tells to The Breaker: “Cold!  No snow just lots of sea foam.”

Travellers shall avoid the site at the moment.

Tidal levels at Bournemouth and Poole Harbour will reach their highest point in three weeks this morning but will remain under 0.7 metres.
