Driver crashes into ambulance in Christchurch

A man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, drug-driving and driving without insurance or a licence.

Two paramedics were taken to Poole hospital yesterday after the Volkswagen Golf crashed into the ambulance.

They were responding to an incident at the time but no patients were on board.

Dorset Police said an unmarked police car illuminated it’s lights and requested the car to pull over before the collision.
