The controversial Navitus Bay wind farm continues to face opposition despite the developer’s proposal to reduce the number of turbines from 194 to 105 in November last year. Interested parties submitted their opinions about it to the planning inspectorate on Jan 7. Poole and Christchurch Bay Association thinks the scaled-down plan is totally different from the original one, information about it is inadequate and therefore it needs a new round of inspection. However, an environmental organization East Dorset Friends of the Earth supports this project believing the information is more than adequate and the modified plan is just a part of the original inspection.
