Having grown up in a country where the government fails to prioritise its citizens, and where rules are manipulated to benefit a select few, I have witnessed a great contrast in the UK. I can’t say I know much about politics, especially the UK politics, but I do keep tabs.
The taxes here are being utilised effectively. As the upcoming election approaches, my aspiration is for the citizens to elect the most suitable candidate who can bring about positive change. I have taken the initiative to actively encourage my friends who are eligible to vote to conduct thorough research and make informed decisions at the polls.
