Members of the Poole Radio Yacht Club meet every Saturday at the boating lake to race remote controlled ‘lasers’. The spring racing season is currently underway and about a dozen enthusiasts meet each week to compete in the series. The Poole Radio Yacht Club has been going for more than 6o years and has a dedicated section on the boating lake for model yachts.
