Three Dorset beaches were ranked on top ten in UK, with Weymouth ranked as second best rated beach in the UK and eighth in Europe. Hengistbury Head in Bournemouth and Sandbanks in Poole named as the ninth and the tenth in the UK respectively in the TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice awards.
James Kay, TripAdvisor spokesperson said, “In its third year, these awards recognise the best beaches in the UK and worldwide, based on the reviews and ratings from travellers around the globe”.
