Bournemouth University student found dead in halls

Bournemouth University has confirmed the death of a twenty-year-old student in Cranborne House on St Paul’s Place.

Police were called to the university halls of residence following the death of a female student in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

A spokesperson for Bournemouth University told The Breaker that the death is not being treated as suspicious and the family have been informed.

Those affected have been directly contacted by the university’s well-being team and other students have been offered full access to university support.

The Breaker has requested a statement from Dorset Police, who are yet to respond.
