A Michael Bublé impersonator has been picked as the opening act for the launch of Olympics in Weymouth.

Rickie Arthur, from Wales, and his 7 piece band will be opening the Weymouth Bayside Festival on 27 July.

It is expected that a TV audience of 4 billion people will watch the Olympic Games in London 2012.

Michael Bublé himself performed at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.

The impersonator has received rave reviews for his Bublé impersonation in the critically-acclaimed show “Bublé Fever”.

He has also received well wishes from Michael Bublé’s management, Warner Music UK.

Last year, he performed at 50 venues across the UK in 2011.
