Repair work started at Sandbanks coast after delays at Whitecliff.

Work starts today to repair storm damage to the rock Groynes at Sandbanks.

The work, which was scheduled to begin yesterday, was delayed due to continuing operations at Whitecliff.

Rock was being added to the coastline to help protect it from being washed into the sea.

 

Storm aftermath coverage on The Breaker:  Beach clean-up in Boscombe, more flood support for Poole and dead birds washed up on Chesil beach.
