White rose for red carpet stars: #metoo at the Brits

Artists wore a white rose to show solidarity with the #metoo movement at last night’s Brit Awards.

The rose is also a symbol of ‘Time’s Up’, an organisation that works on behalf of over 300 women in the film, music and theatre industry.

The movements are a response to allegations of sexual abuse inside Hollywood, made against multiple stars but notably Harvey Weinstein.
