Poole operated a series of events to celebrate the opening of Twin Sail Bridge last weekend. Karen Yun takes you to the celebration with her photographs.

Poole council launched a series of events throughout the weekend to celebrate the opening of the Twin Sails Bridge. Along with the celebration, Brilliance 2012 illuminates 24 local artists’ light installations in shop windows across the Town Centre and Poole Quay. Featuring live music, street entertainers and circus acts, the Carnival took over Poole Harbour, wrapping up with a five minute long firework displays.
