Bournemouth Foodbank “concerned” about Universal Credit

Bournemouth Foodbank may face food shortages this winter unless action is taken to improve the new Universal Credit system, which is replacing benefits.

Debbie Bramley, Project Director of Bournemouth Foodbank says they are “concerned that with the implementation of Universal Credit, they are going to see a massive increase” in foodbank use.
