Free movement of EU citizens will end on Brexit day

Theresa May has promised EU citizens’ free immigration to Britain will end on Brexit day in March 2019.

The Prime Minister is preparing to fight with Brussels over its demands to continue full residence rights of EU migrants in the UK until the end of 2020, the last day of transition.

There is a record-breaking number of more than 2 million EU citizens employed in Britain last year. The proportion of EU workforce in manufacturing is the largest with 11% , followed by 9% in hospitality.

Bournemouth residents express their concern with the changes.
