Police appeal for burglary witnesses

Police in Poole are appealing for witnesses to come forward after jewellery was stolen from a house in Rossmore on Thursday 2 February. The incident took place between 6.40am and 1.45pm on Thursday 2 February 2012 on Rossmore Road, near the Worbarrow Garden junction.

Police in Poole are appealing for witnesses to come forward after jewellery was stolen from a house in Rossmore on Thursday 2 February.

The incident took place between 6.40am and 1.45pm on Rossmore Road, near the Worbarrow Garden junction.

Offenders forced entry into the house and stole a small quantity of jewellery.

Police Constable Malcolm Hustler, of Poole Police, said: “This burglary took place during the day and I’m sure the area will have been relatively busy. Anyone who recalls any suspicious activity in the area of Rossmore Road, Worbarrow Gardens and Brixey Road should call Dorset Police as soon as possible.”

Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset police in confidence on 101 quoting incident number 2:261. Alternatively, call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
