Serious assault in Upton

Police are urging a dog walker to come forward after a female was seriously assaulted in Upton on Friday February 3rd 2012. The incident happened in Upton, near Poole on a footpath leading off Sandy Lane at 16.45.

The incident happened in Upton, near Poole on a footpath leading off Sandy Lane at 16.45.

Dorset Police are especially interested in speaking to a woman who was wearing a purple coloured coat and walking a black Labrador dog in the area at the time of the incident.

The police stress that it was an isolated incident and there are no concerns to the general public.

A man has been arrested and is assisting the police with their investigation.
