In the UK and Ireland World Book Day will be celebrated on Thursday 1 March 2012. It is a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and the celebration of reading. It’s the biggest celebration of its kind, designated by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading, marked in over 100 countries worldwide.
