Police appeal for burglary witnesses
Police in Poole are appealing for witnesses to come forward after jewellery was stolen from a house in Rossmore on Thursday 2 February.
The incident took place between 6.40am and 1.45pm on Thursday 2 February 2012 on Rossmore Road, near the Worbarrow Garden junction.
Residents feedback on social housing

A seven-mile self guided trail through North Bournemouth’s history and wildlife has been launched in Kinson this week.
The meeting was conducted by Bournemouth Council’s PR volunteer officer, Richard Hesketh, with a presentation on the natural resources and wildlife in the area.
‘Poole Trail’ phone service launched
A new mobile phone service has been launched to help people explore Poole and find out about its history.
The Poole Trail scheme is an online service that provides people with historical information depending on their current location in the town.
The scheme uses a system of electronic signposts to locate the person, before giving them text, pictures, video and audio content on the history of their surroundings.
Tourist season starts early
Over a thousand tourists will be checking in to a Poole holiday park for the school’s February half term.
Parkdean’s Sandford Holiday Park, is in Holton Heath which is six miles outside of Poole, it is the only caravan park in Poole that welcomes tourists at this time of year.
Depardieu to star in Strauss-Kahn movie
Gerard Depardieu is to star in a movie about the sex scandal that caused Dominic Strauss-Kahn to resign as the head of the International Monetary Fund.
The film will be directed by US filmmaker Abel Ferrara, who is best known as the director of the 1992 crime thriller ‘Bad Lieutenant’.
